Elections

Every three years the six trustees of the Taranaki Electricity Trust are required to stand down and an election is held. 

The TET elections are independently carried out by Election Services who manage and run the Taranaki Electricity Trust’s election of trustees. An election was held 16 June 2023. Jono Erwood, Alan Jamieson and Peter McDonald were elected as Ward B Trustees. They join Tony Bedford, Mike Davey and Melissa Stevenson, who were re-elected unopposed from Ward A.

The conduct of the election is regulated by the Taranaki Electricity Trust Deed of Trust.
