The BRASA Waitara Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club is making the most of their improved premises

The BRASA Waitara Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club is making the most of their improved premises.

The Club, which has become a hub for many children in Waitara, is in even better heart now, following the installation of a new roof, thanks to a grant from the Taranaki Electricity Trust.

"We now have a dry, clean and healthy environment for our young people and their whanau to come and be together and enjoy their martial art," said hard-working chairperson, Jackie Papuni. The club has about 50 members and in addition to its youth-focus, also has adult classes.
