Te Arakamu marches to success

The Te Arakamu Marching Club were delighted with their success at the recent national champs

The Te Arakamu Marching Club were excellent ambassadors for Taranaki with some mighty results at the recent Nationals held in Hamilton.

Among the key results achieved was first in the under18s Display and third in the under13s technical. 

"We took two teams to Nationals this year, our U18s and U13s teams. These two teams worked extremely hard and made sure they met their goals this season to be able to attend Nationals. Both our teams did well and we could not be prouder as a club," said Chairperson/Club President, Chandel Smith.

The club received a grant from the Taranaki Electricity Trust to attend the national competition, something Smith says was essential to their success. "We want to say thank you for your contribution towards our season and helping us achieve our goals."
